Stuart Staples Guest Vocals at Live Shows (The Triffids / Fitzcarraldo Sessions)
Stuart will become a Triffid for the day this Friday 9 April at The Barbican in London (http://www.barbican.org.uk/music/event-detail.asp?ID=10108) when he takes to the stage to perform guest vocals for some numbers as part of the celebration of the life and songwriting prowess of David McComb who died in 1999.
He will also be flexing his vocal chords at the Fitzcarraldo Sessions show at Printemps De Bourges 2010 (http://www.printemps-bourges.com/fr/programme/the-fitzcarraldo-sessions.php) the following Friday 16 April. Stuart provided vocals for one of the songs on the album, "We Hear Voices", which was released last year and featured a host of guest vocalists.

Tindersticks play 3 UK dates this week, hot on the heels of their recent European shows. The shows in Edinburgh, Manchester and London are:
Monday 22 March - Edinburgh, Queens Hall
Tuesday 23 March - Manchester Cathedral
Wednesday 24 March - London, Shepherds Bush Empire
The band head off on tour in mainland Europe again from 30 April.
Meanwhile, they have also just announced a show in Poland at the Off Festival, Krakowice on Friday 6 August.

Tindersticks have just confirmed a show in Italy. It will take place on 8 August in the beautiful surroundings of the Abbazia Abbey in Sesto al Reghena - a 9th Century Village about an hour outside Venice.Box office details etc to follow on the concert pages as soon as we have them.

A new Tindersticks single, "Black Smoke", is availble from all good shops from today (Monday 8 March) on the band's own Lucky Dog label.
Taken from the band's current album, "Falling Down A Mountain", the b-side features a version of Psychic TV's achingly beautiful "Just Drifting", the hautingly emotive song that was the band's first single back in 1982 (and appeared on their debut album "Force The Hand Of Chance").
Tindersticks are currently on tour in Europe.
